Under the UK GDPR, I'm the "data controller", which means I'm responsible for looking after any information you share with me.
3. What data I collect
If you contact me: your name, your email address, and anything you include in your message. If you make a payment: Stripe processes your payment securely; I may receive your name, email, billing address, what you bought, and the date and amount. I never see or store your full card details. I don't use cookies on this website.
4. Why I use your data
So that I can reply to your message, send updates you've asked for, and process your payment and deliver what you've bought. Lawful bases: legitimate interests and contract; consent for email updates.
5. How your data is stored
Enquiries: stored in my iCloud Mail inbox. Payments: handled securely by Stripe; I keep only the basic transaction details I need for my records.
6. Third-party services I use
Apple (email hosting), Formspree (contact form), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (cookieless website analytics). Each only processes data on my behalf and follows strong privacy standards.
7. How long I keep your data
- Enquiry emails: up to 12 months, unless they relate to ongoing work or legal requirements.
- Payment records: up to 6 years, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
8. Sharing your data
I don't sell your data or share it for marketing. It's only processed by the trusted services above.
9. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask me to correct or delete it, object to how it's processed, and complain to the ICO. To use any of these, email me at the address above.
10. Updates to this policy
If I change anything, I'll update this page with a new "last updated" date.
